GLITCH: a sudden, usually temporary malfunction or irregularity of equipment.


By editing a picture in audio-software Audacity instead of a musicfile, David Vijsma creates the most unpredictable and unique effects by turning the buttons and scrolls. Meanwhile, he explores more and more ways to edit photos an images in an original way. All these experiments lead to his unique GLITCHART works. 

Works are made up of personal photographs and royalty-free pictures. By David's methods almost no pixel remains in place and there is always a unique GLITCHART work. Work in assignment is possible ,where you yourself supply the picture, or let David create one for you.


David Vijsma

David Vijsma, active as an artist since 1985, mainly works as a painter and photographer. Apart from these well-known art forms, he has since the beginning of 2014 focused on making his digital glitchart. However, he does not do this with popular editing programs such as Photoshop. He has joined a group of artists who are active on the worldwide web. And edit photos with audio-edit-software Audacity.
